Principal Consultant / Associate Director – Noise & Vibration

Our client is one of the UK’s leading independent infrastructure and property consultancies, specialising in environment, planning and sustainability. This includes their core technical services incorporating industry leading Acoustics and Air Quality teams

As part of the Acoustics team in London you will be involved in a wide variety of exciting and complex projects. Their current project portfolio includes noise and vibration assessment services for high profile schemes including HS2, iconic property developments and large regeneration programmes, supporting the planning applications for a wide range of smaller property developments and providing acoustics services for the construction of Crossrail, London Overground, the Northern Line Extension and Thames Tideway Tunnel.

The Role:-
What they are looking for:
Candidates should have relevant experience within environmental and/or architectural acoustics.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience of leading projects and working in multi-disciplinary teams to tight deadlines and strictly defined budgets
Candidates must hold an Acoustics degree, an Institute of Acoustics (IOA) diploma or have equivalent experience.

Candidates should demonstrate an understanding of environmental noise and vibration in the transportation and construction sector.
Candidates should be well organised, flexible, self-motivated, and professional; enthusiastic and proactive and have a strong work ethic.

Our client provides a wide range of training to its staff including in house workshops run by their experienced team, seminars and presentations from relevant industry professionals in a wide range of environmental and sustainability disciplines and external project management training.
