Opportunities for Senior Directors in our Ecology Division – South East, Midlands and North
Our client is a purpose-driven organisation, and their people are at the heart of this. Every day, everyone contributes to delivering positive change for the environment, society and their clients – and together they are helping to realise more sustainable futures for all.
Focused on securing the right outcomes without compromising their shared ethos has led them to working for a diverse range of insightful and enlightened clients on some of the most exciting and transformation projects in the country. This in turn has helped them to attract, retain and develop a team of talented, passionate and inspiring individuals, who ensure our position at the cutting-edge of our industry.
This is an exciting time for them and the industry, they are committed to playing an active role in this and making a positive impact over the next 5 years. Unsurprisingly, they have ambitious plans to build on their successes to date and to achieve more, and for this to succeed they need to ensure they have the right individuals in the right roles.
They are now looking to further expand and strengthen their presence in the UK. You will have a high degree of autonomy over shaping and growing local teams, pursuing appropriate opportunities, improving processes, driving innovation and developing new initiatives. As a senior team member, you will play a wider role in mentoring and developing the ecology team across the division and provide direct support to the divisional directors. In addition, you will take ownership of some of our key client accounts/frameworks and contribute to and support the development of other teams and service propositions in these regions, including the growth of our Arboriculture team.
On a day-to-day basis you will act as project manager/director of major infrastructure and residential development projects (including HS2). Over time, as we invest in new services such as Environmental Net Gain and Natural Capital, there will be opportunities for you to develop /apply your skills in these areas and to work across different divisions and business units on a range of projects.
As part of their Senior Team, you will play a crucial role in realising their ambitions. You are a talented professional with a broad and deep wealth of expertise, but just as importantly you bring the right aptitude and approach, having the potential as both a disruptor and a collaborator and someone who will thrive in their community of innovators and problem-solvers, where they collectively leverage their ingenuity, experience, passion and technology to build trust with clients and deliver sustainable legacies.
You will have proven experience as a senior director of ecology. You are likely to have extensive experience working in consultancy and be looking to join a large and successful SME where you can directly influence change, and control the direction and performance of the business, and share in its success.
